We have 2 locations in the Central Florida area. We offer both Mental Health and ABA Services at both locations.

WHEN IS A CORE CONNECTION OPEN?

Our business hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm. We do offer after hour and weekend appointments by appointment in our office as well as in homes.

CLINICAL POSITIONS:

Therapist

Description:  Our therapists provide in-home, in-school or in-office individual and family therapy. 

Credentials:  Minimum of Master’s degree in psychology, mental health counseling, social work, marriage & family therapy, or a related field.  

Counties Hiring: Orange, Seminole & Volusia
 

Behavior Analyst and RBT's

Description:  Our behavior analysts provide in-home, in-school and consultation ABA services. We also have an ABA clinic in Altamonte Springs, FL, which would involve more one-on-one direct therapy with clients in addition to parent training.

Credentials:  

For Behavior Analyst: BCBA or BCaBA is required.  Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a behavior analysis related field.

For RBT:  Must have the RBT certification in good standing.

Licensed Assessor 

Description:  Our licensed assessors provide primarily in-home assessments for our unlicensed clinicians.  These assessments are a one-time evaluation conducted in order for the clinician to provide services. 

Credentials:  Current Florida license in a behavioral-health field (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) is required. 

NON-CLINICAL POSITIONS

Compliance / Billing Specialist

We currently have a need for a Compliance / Billing Specialist to help in the review of the Mental Health records generated by our Mental Health Clinicians.

The duties related to this position include:·

· On A daily basis checking client records for completeness, correctness, and compliance with ACC policies

· Approving and billing for services that meet compliance standards into billing software on a daily basis

· Updating EMR system to reflect documentation due dates, authorization end dates, and new client information

· Submitting client documentation to correct personnel for signatures and corrections in a timely manner

· Uploading corrections and signed documents by Treating Practitioner into EMR system on a weekly basis

· Providing feedback/retraining to assigned clinicians regarding documentation and ACC policies in a constructive and timely manner

· Coordinating with funding sources regarding required authorizations and documentation

· Entering insurance authorizations into billing software

· Process and enter client payments into EMR system on a weekly basis

· Assisting in completion of monthly Medicaid/HK eligibility verification on the 1st of each month

· Sharing office phone coverage as appropriate, including taking referrals and assisting callers

· Process Contractors timesheets for Payroll purposes on a weekly basis by the deadline

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent

  • Experience in detail-oriented tasks

  • Able to Multi-Task

  • Able to pass a background check

  • Computer experience in Microsoft Office a must

ABA Clinic Coordinator

We currently have a need for an ABA Clinic Coordinator to help in the daily tasks of our ABA Clinic in Longwood, FL. Bilingual preferred but not required.

The duties related to this position include:

  • Assist with ABA Compliance daily and in the completion of monthly Medicaid/HK eligibility verification on the 1st of each month

  • Screen and communicate with potential clients and answer any intake related questions, gather required documentation for ABA services and set realistic expectations with potential clients regarding ABA treatment

  • Develop and maintain positive and cooperative relationships with funding source representatives, community resources, potential clients, coworkers, and clinical staff

  • Create and manage all employee schedules, RBT and client supervision requirements, create and book billable scheduled hours; schedule needed non-billable hours; maximize dollar value for sessions; work with BCBA to create a schedule that also meets client needs.

  • Communicate with parents regarding the weekly schedule

  • Monitor recertification needs, reviewing timesheets, inputting scheduled sessions

  • Notify BCBA of need to hire additional clinic staff and assist in scheduling interviews with potential new hires

  • Maintain a system for authorizations to ensure pre-authorization is obtained prior to service commencing/continuing

  • Develop and maintain relationships to market ACC and increase the visibility of programs to generate adequate referrals for growth

  • Maintaining required site maintenance log (First Aid Kit, Fire Evacuation, Fire Extinguishers, etc.)

  • Ordering and maintaining appropriate materials to maintain site and assisting in the development of materials needed for the site (toys, notebooks and other.

  • Maintain cleanliness of office facility including the waiting room, material rooms, kitchen and all common areas of the building; oversee the maintenance of the building.

  • Serve as primary phone coverage, answering office phone, taking referrals, assisting callers, and redirecting calls as appropriate

  • Ensuring efficient operation of office equipment

  • Following and Ensuring staff compliance with HIPAA regulations and A Core Connection’s policies
